Detroit Park Coalition’s New program this year – Walk Detroit’s Parks! Join community members who know Detroit’s parks intimately for a social and fitness 1 hour walk in many of Detroit’s parks. Partnership with Michigan Department of Health & Human Services.
O’Hair Park provides a variety of opportunities to walk around and explore the natural and built environment. Whether it is a hike on a trail, or a walk around our new, handicap accessible, 1-mile fitness loop, the walks are designed to help community members have fun, become fit, and make friends. We hope you’ll join us!

Thanks to a partnership with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Detroit Park Coalition is partnering with Yoganic Flow for Health to offer free community yoga.
This Outdoor Hatha Yoga (traditional yoga) class is for all levels. No prior knowledge of yoga is required to participate. This relaxing class is appropriate for beginners as well as regular practitioners. Participants strengthen, calm and restore the mind and body with regular Hatha yoga practice.
