One Square Mile Strong!

The O’Hair Park Community Association (OHPCA) is a resident-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a safe, connected neighborhood surrounding the 78-acre O’Hair Park.

Serving a vibrant footprint in northwest Detroit through community engagement, recreation, health and wellness initiatives, environmental stewardship, and neighborhood partnerships, OHPCA works to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

O’Hair Park Park is one of Detroit’s largest parks surrounded by residents and features scenic walking trails, a handicap-accessible 1-mile fitness loop, sports fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and the beautiful Pitcher Woods natural area.

O’Hair Park serves as a year-round hub for recreation, wellness, arts, education, and community events that bring neighbors together.
